An associate of mine confessed he wasn't much for reading stories to his daughter. However, he did like to tell bedtime stories. A hidden benefit of this preference was that he could tape record these stories so she could listen while he was on the road. In fact, after awhile, she had more than a dozen of these stories on tape. This allowed father and daughter to keep their story time appointment intact even when he had to travel.
How do other traveling parents keep their routines intact when business takes you away from home?
